UNABLE TO ACCEPT IN-PERSON THERAPY CLIENTS CURRENTLY;
PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR TELE THERAPY OPTIONS--

I offer personalized care and flexible scheduling for therapy services to individuals 18 years+. I do not provide therapy services for couples, families, or children/teens at this time.
Currently, in-person therapy is offered in Nevada. Occasionally, online therapy may be an appropriate modality and will be discussed and utilized as appropriate, especially for clients located Arizona, Colorado, and Hawaii, as well as in states or U.S. territories that have implemented PSYPACT.

Therapeutic specialties include military and veteran populations; depression/anxiety; PTSD and trauma symptoms; life, work, and/or relationships; and how to use nutrition and supplements to support your best mental wellness.
I work primarily from a psychodynamic standpoint, with a healthy mix of cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and mindfulness techniques. I am familiar also with several PTSD treatment protocols (i.e., prolonged exposure, cognitive processing therapy). When necessary, referrals can be provided (e.g., when another type of expert is needed). I have one therapy dog, Stewart, who is ready and willing to assist in-office with any therapy needs.

Please note, I have limited experience in the specialty areas of addictions and eating disorders and therefore, do not treat routinely these conditions. Similarly, I do not have the resources to support individuals who are actively psychotic, manic, suicidal, or who need frequent/urgent care services. In these cases, referrals to a different level of care or expertise will be necessary.

Free 15-minute consultations are offered so clients can assess the 'fit.' Potential clients are invited to email, call, or text prior to scheduling the first intake session.
Assessment

Psychological assessment:
Psychological assessment (testing) requested through self-referral or through third-party referral may include a mental status exam (MSE), IQ, attention, functioning, academic achievement, and/or personality measures. A number of tests make up an evaluation or 'test battery.' Depending upon the referral source, feedback may or may not be available to the client. However, in all cases allowed, I will provide as much information and feedback as possible. Currently, these assessments are available for ages 18+.

Independent Medical Evaluations:
Although I have in the past, I do not currently provide veteran compensation and pension (C & P) evaluations or nexus letters via veteran self-referral. All compensation and pension work I do at this time is on a business to business referral basis only.
Consultation Services
Consultation services are available to educators, attorneys, physicians, and other mental health professionals via phone, email, in-person, or televideo, across the U.S. and overseas.

In any of these cases, please contact me for further information.
